99 beads. Rosary-Mala is one of my most popular pieces. I started making sets with a similar design in different styles. This Wardiya can be worn as a necklace / neck altar.
In the Sufi tradition, a practitioner uses the Tasbih to recite the 99 names of Allah. After reading this prayer / poem, I decided that a Wardiya with 99 prayer beads would be perfect for doing something similar.

The home of prayer beads for pagans and others who walk different spiritual paths.
Of the nine aspects of Raven, the two I find most easy to connect with are the Messenger/Traveler and the bringer of Knowledge & Wisdom. That's what prayer beads do - allow the practicioner to send and recieve messages that contribute to the knowledge of yourself.
Christians have Rosaries, Eastern orthodox Catholics have Chotkis, Buddhists and Hindus have Malas, Muslims have Tasbihs. Different names, configurations, and designs, prayer beads have been used for thousands of years by many cultures around the world as meditation/mindfullness aids, prayer counters, decoration, jewelry, and markers of prestige.
Please browse my prayer bead portfolio for past designs and visit the marketplace to see what's currently available for sale. If you see a design you like but find it's not available for sale, inquire about a custom commission.
If jewelry is your thing, check out Raven's Annex.
