Welcome to my collection of shiny things. Please come explore the nest!
In the Raven’s Annex (a.k.a. my blog) I post pieces as I create them, sometimes for sale and sometimes just to show off. I find inspiration in many places, but I like to be challenged, so I sometimes leave the theme or the choice of beads up to my readers. The results are usually interesting and always help me flex my skill as an artist. You can subscribe to my RSS feed to keep up or, if you’re so inclined, you can sign up to get email alerts when I post.
I’ve been doing this for several years, so I’ve built a pretty sizeable portfolio. Please check it out, because art is of no use unless people get to see it. If you see something you like, check the Marketplace — it may be for sale. If you’re inspired by something you see and want a similar piece, I do take commissions. Not often. But, as I said, I love a challenge.
I sometimes donate my pieces to non-profit or charity auctions. I have close ties to the Interstitial Arts Foundation, so a lot of my work goes to them. Most recently I created some wearable art to celebrate Catherynne M. Valente’s Orphan’s Tales books. Later this year I’m donating something to the Interfictions 2 Auction.
That’s all for introductions. Please have a look around. Please read the blog. Please comment!
